Hank’s Trading Post includes substantial existing fuel infrastructure with three double-wall underground storage tanks installed in 1999. The system provides approximately 25,000 gallons of total fuel capacity:
The fuel system is registered with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and is currently maintained in temporary closure status.
The underground storage tanks were replaced by Western Technologies Inc. on March 8, 1999, at which time a comprehensive site assessment was also completed. Supporting environmental sampling and analytical testing documentation is available for review.
The fuel pumps passed annual line inspection and leak detector testing on November 15, 2018. More recently, ADEQ conducted a routine inspection of the fuel pumps and underground storage tanks on June 25, 2025, and the facility passed the inspection.
Hank’s Trading Post is currently in compliance with applicable Arizona underground storage tank requirements, including A.R.S. §49-1001 through §49-1021 and associated administrative rules. Documentation, including the ADEQ inspection report and Underground Storage Tank Pollution Liability Insurance, is available to qualified buyers.
